George Harrison (1943–2001) was an English musician, singer-songwriter, and film producer, best known as the lead guitarist of The Beatles. He contributed songs such as “Here Comes the Sun” and “Something.” After the band’s breakup, he had a successful solo career, founded Handmade Films, and organized the 1971 Concert for Bangladesh. Harrison was also known for his interest in Indian music and Hindu spirituality.
