The Doors were a rock band who formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The band consisted of lead vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. Their music fused rock, blues, and psychedelic sounds with Morrison's poetic lyrics and theatrical stage presence. The Doors released their self-titled debut album in 1967, which included the hit single "Light My Fire." They disbanded in 1973 after Morrison's untimely death.
